1 Day in Bratislava, Slovakia
/February 15, 2016
After a short 1.5 hour bus ride from Vienna we arrived in Bratislava. We noticed how depressing it was at first, but once we got to Old Town things starting looking up. The buildings were bright colored and the streets were all cobblestoned. There seemed to be new stores all over the place. We enjoyed a hip/trendy breakfast joint before heading out into town.
We paid for a co-ed basic dorm room with 8 bunks but the guy at the front was nice enough to give us the private double room since it was being unused for no additional charge. Sweet!
We spent 4 hours enjoying the sites before taking a siesta. We later enjoyed a very filling traditional Slovakian dinner at a nearby bar that's been around for over 250 years.
Tomorrow we head to Budapest where we will be staying in an Airbnb for two nights!
