Scientists Search Externally While Yogis Search Internally for Meaning, Truth, & Purpose

Are you spending you time measuring or mattering? We, in the west, learn that truth is achieved through external means. Although tools are not in themselves bad they are not our only tools. Where a scientist will search for meaning and purpose using his microscope the Yogi will search within the find truth. The two perspectives need not be mutually exclusive. However the people of the west (most notably in the United States of America) must abandon this childish idea that wealth and the consumption have any real value. Anybody who’s seen the world will tell you that pleasure does not equal happiness and that the latter is harder to achieve but more more sustainable.
